While Pocket Monster won't be coming to the US until sometime in 1998, Japan is going ape over one of the game's cutest characters - Pikachu.
While not the strongest character in Pocket Monster (Pokemon, for short), the character has emerged as the game's main star creature, and is soon to star in his very own N64 game, Pikachu Genki Decchu. The game is expected to use Marigul's microphone pak, which allows gamers to not just press buttons on a controller but interact and speak to Pikachu themselves.
