SNK Bids Farewell to America

SNK Corporation, facing sluggish sales, pulls their American subsidiary, SNK USA off and heads back to Japan. This only means that the production of games for the Neo-Geo Poket in America has stopped. Meaning there will no longer be games for the Handheld but only limited in America.
You can still buy games for your NGPC but they will be all developed by Japanese. So if you're planning on investing on a handheld system, wait for the new GameBoy Advance.
