Meet our featured Girl Gamer for this week, Mish.

1.Could you tell us something about yourself? How old are you? Where are you located and what are you currently engaged in?
----I'm Michelle Escultura, 18 years old, turning 19 in 3 months :p I live in QC and since it's summer, I spend most of my free time at the gym, at home or with my friends

2.When was the first time you actually played a video game? What's the name of the game and game system? What or who made you play?
----I think I was 11 or 12 when I first played Tekken 2 on the Playstation back in Australia. My kuya loved that game so he kinda wanted me to play so he'd have someone to compete with. I used to run into the next room whenever Devil's intro was playing; that thing scared the hell outta me haha

3.Do you own a video game console? If yes, what system? Was it your very fist console? What video game platform do you prefer? (PC, Consoles or Handheld)
----Err no :p I've never really owned one but I lived with my cousins who owned a Playstation 2. Hrmm... What do I prefer? I'm not much of a gamer but some of the best games I've played are on the PC, so there.

4.What is your favorite video game? Why?
----The Tekken series and Soul Calibur series are a childhood favorite because I used to get this notion that video games were for boys, but in Tekken, you get to use all these cool female characters like Nina, Jun and Xiaoyu. I also like the Sims 2 because you get to control people's lives hahaha

5.How about a particular video game character, who's your favorite? Why?
----Nina from the Tekken series, no doubt! I love how she's in control and she's not one of those mushy teenybopper characters who fall in love with someone and get heartbroken and whatnot. She's in a fighting game, and thats exactly what she does: kicks some poor guy's ass haha

6.Do you play online games? What are your current and alltime favorites?
----I've played ROSE online back when it was free. It was pretty good until you had to pay :(

7.If you were to convince a friend or co-worker to play video games, how would you do it? Would you do crazy stuff just to convince him or her?
----First I'd pick a game that would suit their lifestyle. If they're into fighting games, i'd let them have a go at something like Tekken 5 and set it on easy, just to make them think that theyre pretty good at it hahaha
But if they're into games like the Sims 2, I'll just show that person how fun it is to manipulate these simulated people. Ideal 'to for control freaks haha

8.Are you part of a clan or guild? If yes, can you give us some info about your guild?
----I think I had some sort of guild back when I was playing ROSE. Yun lang, you had a guild but the other members don't really help you out much haha

9.Did playing a video game made any difference in your life? If yes, could you tell us?
----It's a great passtime, especially when yo just wanna sit back, relax and have a good time. And knowing a little bit about video games makes you a little more interesting to talk to, for some reason :p

10.Do you have any personal video game related story that you can share with us?
----I used to go to a friend's house and play Silent Hill: The Room. I was too scared to go home, so I asked by friends to escort me back. When I got home, I refused to sleep alone in my own room so I went to my Tita's room. Hahaha chicken :p

11.Have you ever bought (or played) a pirated copy of a video game? Could you tell us about it?
----Yeah. It's just as good as the original haha

12.Any last message you wish to impart to our readers? Any greetings and link-love to your friends?
-----Keep playing :p even if you lose, that's not really the point of playing, right? And kung may pusta man kayo at natalo kayo, malas mo nalang hahaha :)
