Call of Duty: Black Ops
Developer Treyarch has revealed the name and release date of this year's Call of Duty game. According to the trailer, the game will be released on November 9, 2010. Almost following the Call of Duty Christmas day release tradition.
There has been no other information available about the game but I'm assuming it will be available for the PS3, Xbox360 and PC, like the previous Call of Duty games. Unlike the previous games however, I hope they set up a dedicated server this time around. Don't screw us over Treyarch!
You can visit their website and according to their blog:
"We at Treyarch are excited to reveal our latest development - Call of Duty: Black Ops! Be sure to head over to CallOfDuty.com/blackops as more details begin to unfold!"
However, recent rumours according to Eurogamer have suggested a Cold War setting, and that Vietnam might still be one of several locations in the game. The Black Ops title suggests secret, special forces action rather than frontline fighting.
You realize all CoD4 gamers + changed. Once awarded killstreaks people wanted to camp. Now the only way is to find people to play camping. CoD2 big a red, my favorite online game, not really a camp because you could not. IW / Treyarch that like it needs to rebuild.
