ASUS Brings Back the World GameMaster Tournament
Manila, Philippines – Filipino gamers will surely start to practices once again as the World GameMaster Tournament will be coming back to the Philippines for 2010! Two years ago, gamers from Cebu, Davao and Manila all competed to be named as the World GameMaster Champions for Counterstrike, DOTA and Need for Speed.
This year, ASUS, the world’s best selling motherboard brand, is the recommended gaming hardware for the 2010 World GameMaster Tournament and has prepared newer games, more prizes and an exciting twist to the tournament.
For 2010, the games are Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for teams of 5 and Street fighter 4 for individual games. The preliminaries for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be on June 26, 10:30am at the Mineski Infinite Grounds while the preliminaries for Street Fighter 4 will be at Bo’s Coffee Glorietta 5, 10:30am.
Players will enjoy competing with top notch hardware with the latest ASUS boards and graphic cards, as well as Intel processors, HDD from Western Digital, Memory from OCZ, Cooler and Power Supply from Thermaltake and gaming peripherals from Logitech.
For the individual game, instead of the usual desktops, players will be using the newest notebook from ASUS with Sonic Master technology, ASUS N61Jv, giving the players a great multimedia experience.
Up to 200,000 cash and hardware are up for grabs for the winners! Registration will start from June 11, 2010 at The Philippine WGT Website
