Mortal Kombat: Rebirth?

Oh what do we have here, everyone's favorite borg Seven of Nine err... Jeri Ryan playing as Mortal Kombat's Sonya Blade? YouTube user "MortalKombatRebirth" has uploaded an 8 minute video clip on what seems to be a new Mortal Kombat movie.

Speculations include:

- that this is just part of a viral campaign by Warner for their E3 surprise.
- that this is just a fan video
- that this is a preview of the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie reboot.

With the attention to detail, I doubt that this is just a fan-made video. The guy playing Jax is the guy who played Spawn, Johnny Cage is rumored to be the next Vegeta on the upcoming Dragon Ball 2 movie, Scorpion is Tekken movie's Kazuya Mishima, and of course, Sonya Blade. Geeks would always remember her as that sexy Seven of Nine Borg drone from Star Trek: Voyager.
