Fruits Basket Going Hollywood

The shōjo manga Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya is currently under the planning stages to become the latest Hollywood live-action movie. The movie is said to be produced by Joshua Long of 1212 Entertainment, the same outfit responsible to the upcoming Cowboy Bepop live-action movie with Keanu Reeves.

Fruit Basket was serialized in the Japanese manga magazine titled Hana to Yume and published a total of 23 volumes of manga. An anime was also released 2001.
