Nihonsei: China's Gundam Rip-off

Remember that RX78-2 1/1 scale in Odaiba, Japan? China made a "copy" of that behemoth of a mecha. Believe it or not, read the rest of the story after the jump.

The People's Republic of China's Chengdu Floral Land park erected a certain mecha that uncannily resembles the Gundam of Japan. The "copy" is made of stretched fabric over a frame as opposed to the steel and plastic of Japan. The mecha stands 80cm (the same size of the one in Japan) and the owner of the amusement park asserts that it is totally original.

Sotsu Sunrise filed a lawsuit on the park owner and currently the mecha is undergoing "some modifications"
