Yokai Watch Comes to McDonald’s Philippines
The Yokai Watch exercise.
In recent months, Yokai Watch has become popular here in the Philippines! With an avalanche of merchandise from plushies to figures, and of course, the 3DS video game itself, Yokai Watch has secured a spot for itself in the hearts of youngsters and adults alike.
Today, we went to McDonald’s to have merienda and I found out that they had Yokai Watch as the current Happy Meal toy line! Being the 5-year old that I am, I asked my mom to buy me a Happy Meal.
There are eight toys in total, but only three were available in the branch that we went to.
I got the Whisper and Jibanyan Projector bag tag/watch:
The toy is super adorable. It projects a small image of two of the most popular characters in the series: Whisper and Jibanyan.
There’s a button at the back which lets you switch between the two characters as well as an on/off switch.
It’s a cute toy and I’m sure kids will enjoy it. Doubly so if they’re a fan of the franchise.
I’m going to buy the video game, so, as much as I’d want to complete the toy set, I probably would have to skip a few Happy Meals in order to save up.
