Joseph Joseph: Whoever Said Kitchen Stuff Was Boring

I was doing my routinary gift buying this December when I happened to look past by a peculiar chopping board. This chopping board was eye catching since first it was colorful and also upon closer inspection it was 4 separate chopping boards segregated for fish,meat,veggies,and stew. Now this might seem weird to most but I actually liked it. What I didn't like was the higher than normal price.

This was my very first Joseph Joseph experience. I'm betting it won't be my last.

Who Are They?

  Joseph Joseph is a manufacturer best known for its design based products, founded by twin brothers Richard and Antony Joseph.

Combining respective experience in product design and business – Antony studied design at Central St Martins whilst Richard studied business at Cambridge University.

The company started after the brothers' father asked them to help out at his glass manufacturing firm. The company, set up by their grandfather, made toughened glass for products such as cooker hobs. Richard and Antony were given £10,000 worth of stock in order to manufacture glass chopping boards, which still remain part of the Joseph Joseph range.

Since 2003 the brand has expanded into many product areas, including chopping boards, cooking utensils, knives and more recently kitchen waste and recycling bins.
