Call of Duty: Mobile to be "phased out" with the launch of Warzone Mobile
It's official: Call of Duty: Mobile will be "phased out" over time with the upcoming launch of Warzone Mobile, according to Microsoft's response to the UK Competition Markets Authority. The Xbox creator believes that carving out mobile games would be inappropriate, and that it would be better to provide players with a unified experience across PC, console, and mobile platforms.
Warzone Mobile, which is scheduled to release later this year, will offer cross-progression with its PC and console counterparts, allowing players to have a shared continuity and a unified backdrop for conversation. While Call of Duty: Mobile has its own battle pass and seasons, the idea behind Warzone Mobile is to tie progression to the PC and console versions of the game.
Many fans are excited about the upcoming launch of Warzone Mobile, as it promises to offer a more immersive and seamless gameplay experience. However, some are concerned about the future of Call of Duty: Mobile, which has been a hugely popular mobile game since its release in 2019. Only time will tell how this transition will play out, but one thing is for sure: the Call of Duty franchise is evolving, and fans will have to adapt to keep up with the changes.
