Google Launches AI Chatbot Bard in US and UK
Google has released its latest chatbot called Bard, which uses generative AI to collaborate with users and boost productivity and creativity. Bard is now available for users in the United States and the United Kingdom through a sign-up system, with plans to expand to other countries and languages soon.
Powered by a research large language model (LLM), Bard is an early experiment that aims to improve its services through feedback from more people. Like ChatGPT and other AI chatbots, users can ask Bard questions and receive immediate feedback.
Google acknowledges that AI technology, including Bard and other LLMs, has limitations, such as reflecting real-world biases and stereotypes that show up in their outputs. To ensure responsible development, Google applies its AI Principles to build Bard with a focus on quality and safety.
While access to Bard is currently only available in the US and UK, Google plans to make it available to more users in the future. Keep an eye out for updates on when Bard will be accessible to users in the Philippines!
