Fans have been eagerly anticipating news on what Nintendo has in store for their next silver screen adaptations, and it seems like we might not have to wait much longer.
Shigeru Miyamoto, the mastermind behind many of Nintendo's beloved franchises, recently spoke with Japanese publication Nikkei about the company's future in films. While he didn't give away any specific details, he did hint at the possibility of using other well-known characters for future movies.
As Miyamoto puts it, "Nintendo is like a talent agency. We have plenty of other entertainers." This means that there's a wealth of possibilities for what Nintendo could tackle next in the world of cinema.
From beloved characters like Link from The Legend of Zelda to the cast of Animal Crossing, there are plenty of franchises that could make for great silver screen adaptations. And with Nintendo's track record for creating memorable and beloved characters, it's safe to say that fans will be eagerly anticipating news on what's next.
While there's no official word yet on what Nintendo's next movie project will be, it's clear that the company has big plans for the future. Whether it's a sequel to the Mario movie or an entirely new franchise, fans can't wait to see what's next from Nintendo in the world of cinema.
